Louisiana Rescinds Directive 218-R

LA | The Louisiana Department of Insurance today announced that it is rescinding Directive 218-R, issued on September 7, 2021. The directive, which concerned the mandatory payment of expenses incurred by policyholders evacuating and/or prohibited from using their premises due to Hurricane Ida, has been deemed invalid and unenforceable.
